Title IX
Title IX is a federal civil rights law passed in 1972 that states: "No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance."
The College Law Duo’s representation in Title IX matters includes:
athletes denied equal opportunity, funding, and treatment;
students, faculty, and staff charged with or harmed by sexual harassment and assault;
campus members subject to pregnancy discrimination;
students and faculty facing sex-based discrimination in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) educational offerings;
sexual discrimination and retaliation in the higher educational workplace; and
discriminatory dress code policies and/or enforcement.
